Love Builds Families is an intimate, boutique-style event in Brussels designed for intended parents seeking trusted information about surrogacy in the United States.
It welcomes up to 40 participants per day, creating a warm and personal environment. The morning features talks from fertility doctors, surrogacy lawyers, and parents who have completed the journey.
In the afternoon, participants can book private, one-to-one consultations with experts. The event offers a compassionate space where knowledge, experience, and guidance come together to support your family-building journey.

Discover the critical role of sprem and egg donation in building your family with Dr. Said Daneshmand. This session covers the full process, from choosing the right egg donor and understanding DNA testing to the practical aspects of matching, medical protocols, and the expected timeline.
Dr. Daneshmand will also address the medical implications and considerations for both donors and recipients. Costs, logistics, and tips for navigating this often complex process will be explained clearly. A Q&A session will follow, giving you the chance to ask specific questions and gain practical guidance tailored to your journey.
Session 3: Egg and sperm donation legal information by Molly O’Brien
In this session, leading reproductive attorney Molly O’Brien will break down the essential legal aspects of using egg or sperm donors in the U.S. She’ll explain how donor agreements work, what protections intended parents should expect, and how to ensure everyone’s rights and intentions are clearly defined.

Session 6: Panel discussion with Tobias & Thomas by IVF Daddies
Gain firsthand insights from Thomas (Belgium) and Tobias (Germany), parents who have built their families through surrogacy and supported many others along the way.
In this candid session moderated by IVF Daddies, they share their personal experiences, including what they would do the same, what they would do differently, and the joys and challenges of the journey.
They’ll discuss the most rewarding and the most difficult moments, offering a realistic perspective on life as intended parents. The session is interactive, giving participants the chance to ask questions and hear lessons learned from those who have walked the path themselves.

Dr. Said Daneshmand is an internationally recognized fertility specialist with expertise in IVF, egg donation, and surrogacy. He has helped develop IVF protocols, including the highly successful PTEC regimen, and his research has been published in Fertility and Sterility. Trained at UCLA, he is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology.
Dr. Daneshmand has received numerous honors, including the Eileen Pike Medical School Valedictorian Award, the PCRS Fellowship and Practicing Physician Research Award, and was President of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society (Iota Chapter).
Named a Top Fertility Doctor by San Diego Magazine in 2025, he is known for his compassionate, hands-on approach, guiding patients through complex IVF journeys and welcoming families from around the world.









Dr. Sandy Chuan is a double board-certified fertility specialist recognized for her individualized, compassionate care in complex IVF and third-party reproduction. She has been named America’s “Top Doctor” (2017–2019) and San Diego Magazine’s “Top Doctor” (2018). Her expertise includes PCOS, diminished ovarian reserve, fertility preservation, mini-IVF, male factor infertility, PGT, and family building through egg donation and surrogacy.
Molly O’Brien is a fertility law attorney who has worked in assisted reproduction since 2005. She began at an egg donation and surrogacy agency, gaining hands-on experience with IVF, egg donation, and surrogacy.
IVF Daddies started with Richard Westoby’s journey to parenthood which brought him into an incredible community of surrogacy experts and, aspiring parents.
Tobias is a German dad who, with his husband Dennis, welcomed their daughter Summer (2019) and son Jaden (2021) through surrogacy in the USA.
Thomas Verbaet is a proud dad of two, born through surrogacy himself. His children, Edgar (2018, Los Angeles) and Sofia (2021, San Diego), inspired him to support couples and single dads on their own surrogacy journeys. Drawing on his personal experience and extensive knowledge of the process, Thomas has helped numerous families navigate the legal, emotional, and logistical aspects of surrogacy.
